Christmas Granola is an easy, healthy homemade treat packed with wholesome grains, nuts, and fruit, that tastes like Christmas in every bite. Perfect for Christmas food gifts!
1½cupnuts and/or seedsI used almonds, pecans and walnuts
⅔cupdried fruitI used cranberries and dates

3tablespoonsbrown sugar
½cupcooking oiluse your preferred oil
½cupmaple syrup
2tablespoonsmolasses
1teaspoonsalt
2teaspoonsground cinnamon
½teaspoonground ginger

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment; set aside.
Add oats, nuts, and dried fruit to a large bowl; set aside.
In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, warm the oil, maple syrup, molasses, melted butter, spices, and vanilla extract. Whisk in the brown sugar until dissolved. Pour over the dry ingredients and mix well.
Spread the mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 18 to 23 minutes, stirring halfway through. It browns quickly so watch it toward the end.
Once browned, remove from the oven and let cool completely on the pan.

If stored correctly, the Christmas Granola should last a couple of weeks at least.Serving Ideas: Perfect as a snack, but delicious with milk, as a topping for yogurt or ice cream or on fruit. The serving size is about ½ cup and makes about 16 servings or 8 to 10 pint-size mason jars.
