Easy grilled Beef Kofta or Kafta, as it's sometimes called, is a Lebanese style street food that's super simple to make at home. Tender and delicious Kofta Kebabs are made with Middle Eastern spices and are grilled indoors or out in less than 10 minutes.
If using wooden skewers, presoak for 30 minutes to an hour so they don't burn on the grill. Place the parsley, quartered onion, and garlic cloves in the bowl of a food processor and pulse until finely chopped, remove and set aside.
Then add the ground beef and spices into the food processor. Pulse a few times until the ingredients have come together into a meatball consistency.
In even amounts, I like to use a large scoop for this, thread a fistful of the meat mixture and mold it around the wooden skewer to about 1-inch thickness.
Oil and preheat the grill to medium-high. Grill the kofta for 4 minutes on the first side, and then flip and cook another 3 to 4 minutes or until they reach your preferred level of doneness. Serve!
