Ingredients

baguette

mascarpone,
goat cheese, whipped feta, cream cheese, or honey-sweetened ricotta

strawberries,
chopped

teaspoons
lemon juice
2-3
tablespoons
honey

tablespoon
fresh basil leaves
or herb of choice, chopped

Instructions
Preheat the oven to broil and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Slice the baguette and place on the prepared baking sheet. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes or until lightly toasted but still soft in the middle.
In a small bowl, toss the chopped strawberries with lemon juice and basil leaves.
Remove bread slices from the baking sheet and spread goat cheese or mascarpone on the toasted baguette slices.
Top each slice with strawberries and a pinch of juillened basil. Drizzle with honey and serve!
Notes
Cheese
Use a spreadable cheese of your choice. If using ricotta or cream cheese, it's nice to whip it with a tablespoon or so of honey to sweeten it.
