Prepare the soap base: Cut your solid soap base into approximately 1 x 1-inch squares and place them in a heavy glass container.

Melt the soap base: Microwave the soap in 10 to 15-second segments until the base is entirely liquid.

Add the oatmeal: Stir in the ground oatmeal and either the lavender or the honey with a heatproof utensil before pouring into your choice of mold.

Let the soap set: Leave the soap to set for at least an hour before unmolding.
