Watermelon Granita is a simple and healthy snack, an elegant dessert after a summer meal, a summer teatime treat, or a child-friendly snack they'll love. It's simple, refreshing, and oh-so-easy!
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and puree until smooth.
Pour watermelon into a shallow pan and freeze for 1 hour.
Using a fork, break up the mixture and freeze for another hour. Repeat one more time for another hour-- freezing for a total of 3 hours.
Just before serving, break up the mixture with a fork before adding it to bowls or glasses.
Notes
Honey: You can swap granulated sugar for honey for a sweeter flavor. Any leftovers will become more solid than when using honey. You will need to let it thaw a bit before serving.
