A simple Chocolate Chip Banana Bread recipe made from a lighter, healthier version of classic banana bread. Yet still moist and rich; infused with chocolatey decadence that's perfect for snack time or teatime.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and coat an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan with cooking spray. Set aside.
In a medium bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, combine mashed bananas, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Stir in the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda just until all the ingredients are combined and there are no dry flour streaks. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Transfer batter into the prepared loaf pan.
Bake 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean. Cool in the pan 10 minutes before removing the bread to a rack to cool before slicing.
