When fall leaves begin to turn, treat yourself to a Cinnamon Dolce Latte. This 5-minute Starbucks-inspired warm beverage is a simple café espresso latte filled with autumn flavors of sweet cinnamon. And incredibly simple to make at home!
1 to 2teaspoonsinstant espresso powderor 1 to 2 shots of brewed espresso
1/2cupmilkdairy or non-dairy
1/4teaspoonground cinnamon
1/2tablespoonlight brown sugar
1/2teaspoonpure vanilla extract
pinchof ground nutmeg
Whipped cream and ground cinnamon for garnish

Instructions
Stir the espresso powder into the hot water and set aside.
In a glass measuring cup, combine milk, cinnamon, brown sugar, vanilla, and nutmeg; stir until thoroughly combined. Microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds, or until the milk begins to froth. Remove from the microwave and stir. Place back in the microwave for another 30 seconds, or until it begins to froth. Finish with a milk frother once the milk is warm.
Remove from the microwave and pour slowly over the espresso. Top with whipped cream and garnish with sprinkled cinnamon.
