Instructions
Bring water to a boil in a saucepan or tea kettle. Add Earl Grey tea, dried lavender and honey. Stir and let steep for 4-5 minutes. A longer steeping time will elevate the lavender flavors.
Strain the tea and fill two latte mugs ¾ full.
Gently heat the milk over medium heat until warm. Froth with a whisk or milk frother.
Spoon foam over the latte and add a pink of dried lavender to garnish.
Notes
Honey: I enjoy the flavor of honey in this latte, but you could also substitute your favored sweetener, like granulated sugar, if you prefer. Sweetness helps bring the floral lavender flavor forward. I highly recommend adding it!
Milk: Whole milk, half-and-half, cream, or your favorite milk works here. A higher fat content in the milk is easier to froth. In fact, if you're using half and half, you can froth with a whisk (although I still use my handheld milk frother because it's SO quick!).
