Instructions
Preheat the grill to high heat. In a large bowl, add the breadcrumbs, salt, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, and steak seasoning; mix well.
Add the ground beef. Gently mix everything together until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. Divide the beef into 4 equal portions and form a ball. Flatten into about 1-inch patties. Form a slight depression in the center of each patty with your thumb to prevent the burgers from expanding on the grill.
Grill the burgers, until nicely browned on the first side, 2-4 minutes. Then flip the burgers and continue grilling until desired doneness.
Notes
Make Ahead and Freeze: I like to double this burger recipe and freeze uncooked burgers for up to 3 months. They make fantastic, quick, and easy BBQ burgers. Freeze on a baking sheet to retain their shape. Once frozen, transfer to an airtight freezer container. Defrost in the refrigerator overnight and cook as directed.
Homemade Steakhouse Seasoning: 1 tablespoon dry mustard, 2 teaspoons each of granulated garlic or garlic powder, coarsely ground black pepper, 1 teaspoon sweet smoked Spanish paprika, ½ teaspoon dried thyme, and ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes.
