How to Make Grilled Corn on the Cob in Foil Packets
Grilling corn on the cob in foil packets couldn’t be easier. Here are 3 easy steps to juicy, delicious summer sweet corn.
Step 1: Prepare the Grill and Husk the Corn
Heat the grill to medium-high (400 to 450 degrees), husk the corn cobs and remove the silks.
Step 2: Season the Ears of Corn
Place the cobs in a shallow dish and coat all sides of the ears with olive oil. Then sprinkle the dry rub over the top, coating all sides. Wrap individually in heavy-duty foil with space around the cob. Seal the ends securely.
I like to add a pat of butter in each foil packet for extra flavor — but it’s not necessary.
Step 3: Grill the Corn
Place the foil-wrapped ears of corn on the grill with the sealed edge up. Close the grill and cook for 15 to 20 minutes, turning frequently in intervals of 5 minutes. Open the packets carefully to let the steam release.
