When summer days are sweltering and you’re craving a latte — and something a little decadently sweet… try this thirst-quenching ice-cold drink.
Taste the decadent flavors of old-fashioned Southern yellow cake with homemade caramel vanilla frosting. Republic Tea’s smooth premium black tea blend is a favorite and was inspired by the caramel cake in the movie “The Help.” This calorie-free treat is wonderful either served hot or cool.
But decidedly delicious as an Iced Tea Latte!
Ingredients
12 oz. unsweetened milk of your choice (Soy, Almond, Skim, etc.)
2 tea bags of Caramel Vanilla Cuppa Cake™ Tea Bags
1 Tbsp sweetened condensed milk
Directions
Place 2 tea bags of Caramel Vanilla Cuppa Cake™ Tea into your favorite teapot or heat-resistant glass.
Heat milk to almost boiling and pour over the tea bags and allow to infuse for 3-5 minutes.
Stir in 1 Tbsp. of sweetened condensed milk.
Let cool completely and add ice.
Garnish with foam and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Feel free to experiment in order to create your perfect iced tea latte. For a sugar-free option, try HiCAF® Cinnamon Toast Black Tea and omit the sweetened condensed milk.
