This iced tea recipe is a bit different from your usual run of the mill iced tea recipe. A refreshing and delicious combination of a favorite herbal tea along with the bright, citrusy flavor of lemon and the sweet, cooling flavor of mint.
It’s summer in a glass!

Ingredients
- Peppermint tea bags (I’m using Harney & Sons Peppermint Tea)
- Honey (you want to use runny honey as it will dissolve better)
- Lemon juice and slices for serving
- Fresh mint sprigs for serving

Peppermint Lemon Iced Tea
Peppermint Lemon Iced Tea is a beautiful and refreshing summer beverage, lightly sweetened with honey, and made with herbal tea, fresh lemon slices, and mint sprigs.
Ingredients
- 3 peppermint tea bags
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for serving
Instructions
- In a 2-quart pitcher, pour 2 cups of boiling water over peppermint tea bags. Let steep for 4 minutes and discard the tea bags.
- Stir the honey and lemon juice into the tea and then 2 cups of cold water and ice to fill the pitcher.
- Chill and serve over ice with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves.
