It’s the perfect season for warm drinks to take on-the-go! Whether that be tailgating, a Saturday soccer game, a Friday night football game — or a drive to see the fall colors!
Or if you’re like my neighbors — we always had something warm to drink while hiking through the neighborhood Halloween night!
Perfect for the season — warm fall drinks you’ll want to try.
Pumpkin Spice Latte
“While I love my morning Starbucks, especially on brisk mornings with richly colored leaves falling softly to the ground — it’s fun to bring the party home and brew the beloved latte at home as well. Usually my second… or third. It keeps the creative juices flowing, or so I tell my family.”
Apple Cider Chai
Bring 2 1/2 cups apple cider to a simmer and add 3 chai tea bags. Remove from heat, cover and let steep for 30 minutes. Whisk in 1 tablespoon vanilla extract.
Place the 8oz dried apple slices, 2 sticks of cinnamon, 4 cloves and 1 1/2 quarts of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer 15 minutes. Sweeten with honey or sugar, and strain into tea glasses, pushing gently on the apples to remove all the liquid. (Food Network).
Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate
“I can’t even begin to describe such a heavenly mug filled with velvety hot chocolate, seasoned with the familiar spices of pumpkin pie, and dolloped with freshly whipped cream. Goodness, people.”
Tahini Hot Chocolate
“A hot chocolate recipe from hemsley + hemsley, which uses coconut milk as the base and just a touch of sweetener, inspired me to revisit my old friend. of course, as with nearly everything in my life, i added tahini. the result is nutty and not too sweet. it’s rich in texture, yet subtle in flavor, and crazy easy to make.”
CROCKPOT CHAI SPICE WHITE HOT CHOCOLATE
“Make those holiday drinks the easy way in the crockpot! This chai-spiced white hot chocolate is a breeze to throw together and so cozy for winter sipping!”
