I can’t wait for you to try these Apple Cinnamon Blondies. They’re a perfectly seasonal, wonderfully snack-able way to bake with your favorite fall flavors in a way that is so much more portable than, say, a Slow Cooker Apple Crisp.
They don’t last long in my family, so perhaps once you’ve tried them once next time, you might want to make a double batch?
Kitchen Tools Needed for Blondies
This simple recipe can be made in one bowl with a spoon. No need for stand mixers or electric mixers! Here are the kitchen tools I use when making these apple blondies:
- Mixing bowls
- Whisk to combine melted butter and wet ingredients
- Spatula to incorporate the dry ingredients and fold in the apple
- Pairing knife to chop the apple
- 9 x 9-inch nonstick baking pan
Frequently Asked Questions
I love Golden Delicious apples but Pink Lady and Fuji are also really good. Did you know there are 2,500 varieties in the United States alone? It can be challenging to know which apple works best for certain recipes. Allrecipes.com has an excellent article answering the question, How to Choose the Best Apples for Baking and Cooking.
I use one large baking apple in the recipe and often leave it unpeeled. However, that’s up to you and your preferences.
