I was on a quest. An easy quest.

Almost embarrassed to admit this, but I’d never had monkey bread. Really. But I was determined to remedy that oversight.

It was one of those evenings where you just want something a little sweet, a little warm… and a little comforting. And I’d been thinking about monkey bread.

I didn’t want to take the time to make it from scratch. Because I really wasn’t sure I’d be a fan.

So yes… I broke out the canned cinnamon rolls. Two packages, an apple, some cinnamon sugar, a handful of walnuts, and maple syrup. That’s it.

Guess what? I’m now a fan! It’s good, and it couldn’t be easier.
