Ingredients

Here's what you need to make this sweet and salty snack:

A glass bowl brimming with marshmallows, red and white candy, pink candy hearts, pretzels, and chocolate squares sits on a pink cloth. Nearby is a jar of marshmallows, Reese's candies dish, and a Valentine snack bag-the perfect setup for crafting some Valentine's Day crack delights.
  • Chex cereal - A light, crisp base that holds up well under the chocolate drizzle. Rice or Corn Chex both work beautifully here.
  • Pretzels - The salty counterpoint that makes every sweet bite more irresistible. Mini twists pretzels work great, as do these XO pretzels at Amazon.
  • Mini marshmallows - Add a soft, chewy contrast and a little extra sweetness throughout the mix.
  • Valentine's M&M's and chocolate candies - These bring the festive pinks and reds that make this snack feel special for February. I'm using Reese's Pink Hearts from Amazon in this mix.
  • White chocolate chips or melting wafers - Melt smoothly and coat the mix just enough to bring everything together without weighing it down.
  • Sprinkles (optional) - A finishing touch that adds color and a bit of sparkle for parties or gifting.
