Ingredients
Here’s what you need to make these easy pizza pockets. Ingredient measurements are in the recipe card at the bottom of this post.
Think about what you love on a really great pizza, then adjust to a mini size and include in your pizza pockets. This is one of our favorite combinations of ingredients:
- Ready-made refrigerated biscuits
- Shredded cheese: I love an Italian blend or shredded mozzarella cheese
- Ready-made pizza sauce (or if you can using Mexican-inspired flavors, my Homemade Enchilada Sauce is a great swap!)
- Cooked and crumbled sausage (optional but tasty!) or your favorite cooked meat, if using.
- Green peppers, finely chopped
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! And they’re so much healthier than the ones you can get in the freezer section of your market. If you have any leftover pizza pockets, they can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated for around 30 seconds in the microwave for snacks throughout the week or frozen for longer storage.
I’ve not tried it but I can’t see why not — do let me know how they turn out!
