Family Friendly One Pot Dinners is on tap this week. As we enter September, many families return to fall schedules, and weeknight dinners need to be delicious, healthy, and easy.
Even if no one in your household is headed back to school, cooking classic favorite dinners, as the calendar turns into September, is always a good idea.
And the best part, these easy weeknight dinners are made in one pot, are simple to make, and are completely yummy.
By the way — if you’re like me and have PSL’s on the brain (Pumpkin Spice Latte) and can’t wait to dive into pumpkin spice season, we posted a slew of recipe ideas to get you in the mood.
So here’s what we’re cooking for dinner this week:
Family Friendly One Pot Dinners
We’re beginning the One Pot Dinners week with delicious pasta packed with healthy veggies, ground beef, and, yes, a little cheese too. It’s a quick and easy Monday dinner. And leftovers make great lunches!
A favorite in my household is set for Tuesday. This Instant Pot Mexican-inspired favorite is a mostly hands-off cook. Top the bowls with your favorite condiments like avocado, greens, peppers, and more.
On Wednesday we’re making a classic family-friendly favorite: sloppy joes. Swap for your favorite ground meat, add whole grain buns and maybe even oven-baked fries.
Thursday’s dinner is a no-recipe fish chowder “recipe.” Simple, easy to adapt with ingredients you love. Add crusty slices of bread and a salad.
At my house, everyone is thrilled when Friday comes with pizza. This homemade pizza is a particular favorite and super easy to make with store-bought pizza dough and rotisserie chicken.
The treat this week is also a classic and seems very perfect for the start of a new season.
Have a great week!
