Favorite March Recipes
This March, we are treated to a month packed with celebrations from St. Patrick’s Day to Easter and plenty of in-season vegetables we won’t want to miss.
During this month, I love to focus on in-season vegetables like asparagus, artichokes, arugula, bok choy, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower, greens of all kinds, leeks, parsnips, spring onions, and sweet potatoes.
With the sometimes chilly weather in early March, I continue to make soups, casseroles, hardier dishes with spring-like ingredients.
Here are a few ideas of what recipes to make in March:
- Spring Minestrone Soup
- Greek Roasted Chicken and Orzo
- Irish Soda Bread
- Cream of Asparagus Soup
- Lemon Orzo Soup
- One Pot Corned Beef and Cabbage
- Slow Cooker Cabbage Soup
- Irish Vegetable Potato Leek Soup

March Sheet Pan Dinners Menu
Monday’s dinner is a vegetarian sheet pan pasta dish that’s healthy, beautiful, and ready in 30 minutes. Add a large salad with all the fresh March veggies!
Tuesday’s dinner is a healthy takeout meal made on a sheet pan in just over 30 minutes. It’s easy, it’s healthy… and delicious!
Wednesday’s dinner is a meal packed with comfort and flavor. While it will take the longest of our meal plan recipes (about 45 minutes), it’s utterly worth it. In fact, I’m making extra for lunches this week. One pan with easy cleanup!
Thursday’s dinner is also a comfort classic and one that I’ve been craving all winter. While this recipe is made using ground turkey, it’s easy to substitute with your favorite ground meat. I’m sticking with turkey this week. Add a large salad.
Friday’s dinner is a delicious sheet pan seafood dinner featuring spring veggies, herbs, and flavors.
The Treat is bright, sunny, and easy.
Have a beautiful and healthy week!

Celebrate March with delicious and healthy sheet pan dinners featuring in-season vegetables like asparagus, artichokes, and more.
Monday: Sheet Pan Gnocchi
"This sheet pan gnocchi recipe is a weeknight hero. It comes together on a single baking sheet in right around 30 minutes. No boiling required!"
Sheet-Pan Shrimp Fried Rice
"This sheet-pan shrimp fried rice recipe is a great way to use leftover rice, but you could also use pre-cooked microwave rice. Let it come to room temperature while you chop the veggies. Sambal, the spicy chile-based condiment popular in Indonesia, Malaysia and southern India, provides a kick."
Wednesday: Sheet-Pan Chicken and Vegetables
"This sheet-pan chicken and veggies meal tastes as if it took hours of hands-on time to put together, but the simple ingredients can be prepped in mere minutes. The rosemary gives it a rich flavor, and the meat juices cook the veggies to perfection. It’s unbelievably easy!"
Sheet Pan Turkey Meatloaf and Broccoli
"Sheet Pan Turkey Meatloaf and Broccoli made with individual loaves cooked on a foil-lined sheet pan for a quick meal with easy cleanup."
Friday: Rosemary Roasted Salmon with Asparagus & Potatoes
"Yukon Golds are great here because they get crispy on the outside but completely creamy on the inside. A brush stroke or two of balsamic glaze provides a rich color and a sweet finish to the roasted salmon."
Treat: Strawberry Crumble Bars
These simple Strawberry Crumble Bars are deliciously summery with sweet fresh strawberries and an irresistible crumble topping. Perfect for backyard summer BBQ, picnics, or when you're craving a sweet treat.
