Party Caramel Apple Bites
When apple season comes around, and October leaves begin to transform into brilliant fall shades, or Halloween is just around the corner, caramel apples aren’t far from my mind. And while I adore them, these mini candy apples satisfy that craving in a quick and easy way!
Plus, it’s a little healthier, as it’s bite-sized! This three-ingredient treat is simple to make, party-ready in minutes, and delicious!
In October, apple treats are at the top of my mind, from apple dumplings to coffee cakes, cinnamon rolls, and hand pies.
Happy fall!

Ingredients
Here’s a list of those three little ingredients.
- Square Pretzels: I’m using Pretzel Snaps, but you can also use pretzel twists if needed. This is the base of the caramel apple bite.
- Rolo Candy: For a chocolaty caramel flavor, I love using a Rolo for the caramel (like in my Chocolate Chip Rolo Blondies). You can also use a bag of Brach soft caramels.
- Apples: Cut into bite-size pieces. I’m using Granny Smith and Honeycrisp apples for color and flavor variation.
How to Make Caramel Apple Bites

- Prep: Preheat the oven to 325°F, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and cut the apples into bite-size pieces.
- Place pretzels on the baking sheet and top with one unwrapped Rolo.
- Bake for 3-5 minutes until the Rolo begins to melt.
- Place a toothpick in the center of each apple piece while the pretzels are baking.
- Remove the caramel-topped pretzels from the oven and immediately place a skewered apple piece on top of the Rolo, pressing down slightly. Let sit for a few minutes.
Serving Caramel Apple Bites
On a few apple bites, I have drizzled a ready-made caramel sauce over the top for added flavor and maybe a little decadence. But that is completely optional!
This recipe is written for 20 servings or apple bites, but you can make as many or as few as desired. In the photo, you will also see I’m serving an equally simple treat!
