Father’s Day is just around the corner, and there is nothing more special than treating your Dad (or the men in your life) to an easy Father’s Day Tea Party with hearty savories and sweet treats designed just for them.

We’re honoring dads, uncles, grandfather’s and the special men in our lives with a Father’s Day afternoon tea with delicious food we know they will love! From hearty finger sandwiches, to zesty savory dishes, and decadent desserts.
Honoring the men in our lives with an afternoon tea in their honor is a endearing and memorable way to show them how much they mean to us.
Father’s Day Tea Party
While I’ve written about a Lakeside Fisherman Supper, honoring my dad and grandfathers with a menu they love, near a hobby they adore (fishing), I realized I had neglected treating them to one of my favorite pastimes, tea parties.
Growing up, one of the highlights of the year was the annual Father Daughter Tea. If you’ve ever attended one, you know exactly what I mean. To a little girl with her Dad’s full attention, a beautiful and fancy dress, and a tea party with delicious treats, makes for a memorable occasion this girl will never forget.
Now grown up, it’s time for me to reciprocate that beautiful experience by treating him to an unfussy tea menu he’ll love, from more substantial finger sandwiches to savory and sweet treats.
And if, by chance, if you’re looking for more finger sandwich ideas, my Tea Sandwiches post has dozens of recipes, ideas, and tips.
Father’s Day Tea Theme Ideas
Creating a theme for your Father’s Day Tea Party is simple when you consider their favorite colors and pastimes. I love blue and white, but there are so many other ideas too. And yes, I think I could even come up with a “fishing theme” if needed (smile).

Consider the tableware you already have and choose colors in that palette, or highlight their favorites. Be creative on where you might host your tea, whether that be in your dining room, or on the patio, or even a picnic table.

Stephanie:
At first, I wasn’t sure about a Father’s Day Tea, but when I read through the menu ideas, I loved everyone of them. Not sure if you are aware of Tea Time Magazine, but they are having a celebration in November, I bet you would love. You should check it out.
Have a nice day.
Annie
Hi Annie! I’m so glad you liked the Father’s Day tea menu. I had the men in family in mind with their hardier appetites and preferences. And tried to keep it as unfussy as possible 😍. I love Teatime Magazine and get much inspiration there— although I didn’t know about the November event! I’m super curious now and am on my way to check it out. Thank you so much!
