What’s in Season in June
I know you don’t really need a list of what’s in season in June. A simple walk through your favorite market’s produce section or your local farmers’ market will tell you all you need to know!
But just in case, here are some items you might want to enjoy this month
- Apricots
- Greens like arugula, spinach, lettuce, kale, and more
- Cabbages and Kohlrabi (a bulbous veggie in the cabbage family)
- Vidalia onions (those sweet onions that taste like summer)
- Snow peas are generally at peak
- Cherries
- Rhubarb (see more rhubarb recipes for ideas)
- Strawberries (see strawberry recipes for ideas)
- More veggies may already be in season in your area, take a walk soon!
June 30 Minute Dinners Menu
Monday’s dinner is a 30-minute vegetarian skillet dish that is packed with vegetables and flavor. It will make Monday a highlight of the week!
Tuesday’s dinner is a summer-perfect dinner salad with chicken, avocados, and crisp lettuce. It’s one of our favorites, filling and healthy, and ready in 30 minutes or less. You can add or skip the bacon, but I might get a revolt in my family if I didn’t add it in.
Wednesday’s dinner is a simple ground beef recipe served in a bowl with irresistible Asian-inspired flavors. Serve with your favorite grain and add a green salad, too.
Thursday’s dinner is a quick and easy seafood taco bowl that’s ready in as little as 20 minutes. You can use your air fryer or a saute pan for this summer staple meal. Add all the condiments and leafy greens.
Friday’s dinner is easy, easy, easy. It’s a classic, one that so many of us love, and will set a happy tone for the weekend to come!
The Treat is a June-perfect simple cake recipe our readers love.
Have a beautiful & delicious week!
