With back-to-school activities well underway, most of us are in the heart of peach and apple season, and tailgating is beginning in earnest. What to cook? Here are some ideas for peach recipes, apple recipes, and game day recipes to try!

There is nothing quite like a warm peach cobbler in September, whether you make the traditional or a Slow Cooker Peach Cobbler or a quick and easy version like Skillet Peach Cobbler.

Bright orbs of varying shades of crimson dot the landscape of apple orchards in Washington State, where I live. That’s when I know that a delicious season is near.

Perhaps there is no better way to celebrate apple season than with an apple pie, but for me, a Slow Cooker Apple Crisp is a fall favorite, as is the ultimate in apple preserves, Slow Cooker Apple Butter.

And while we often think about sweet treat recipes using apples, like Cast Iron Irish Apple Cake, savory options are just as delicious!
